Welcome to my online gallery, where you’ll find a collection of original oil paintings, fine at prints and art-inspired homeware, all created from my love of colour, light and the places that surround me.

I’m a self-taught artist,originally from Yorkshire and now living on the beautiful North East coast of England. I have been painting for over three decades, and today I work predominantly in oils - a medium I love for its richness, depth of colour and the freedom it gives me to capture light, shadow and atmosphere.

Much of my inspiration comes from the coastline and familiar places of the North East. From Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth to the wider Northumberland coast, I’m continually drawn to those every day scenes that evoke a sense of place - a sunlit beach, people enjoying the shoreline, boats resting in a harbour, familiar streets and landmarks, or simply the way the light falls across the scene.

My paintings are bright, colourful and uplifiting. I’m particularly fascinated by the relationship between light and shadow and how a few carefully chosen colours and brush strokes can bring a scene to life. Rather than capturing every detail, I aim to convey the feeling and atmosphere of a place - creating paintings that feel familiar, joyful and full of life.
