I Have really enjoyed painting this scene of the watch House in cullercoats, I have many paintings of cullercoats as I love the beach and the houses and the life boat station there. So this time I thought It would be great to paint the watch house.
The Watch House is a Grade II listed building, arguably one of the most recognisable buildings on the North East Coast and remains a testament to the fishing industry with which Cullercoats is synonymous.
