The North east coast and whitley bay is a busy tourist attraction, people head there to see this beautiful lighthouse St Mary’s, you can cross over the courseway when the tide is out, you can walk along the promenade, you can enjoy an ice cream while paddling in the sea. This is so popular with tourists I just had to paint it. I loved this painting, it tells a story of a hot sunny day people have rode there on their bikes and maybe gone for an ice cream.
