Craster is a beautiful little fishing village and also a great walk to the gorgeous Dunstanburgh Castle from there too. I have always loved this scene and wanted to paint this for ages. I love little boats and houses, so this one was perfect for me apart from a rainy dull day, however, I like sunshine and shadows, so I painted this into a happier and more inviting mood.
